Cottage Cheese with Honey and Almonds

Ingredients

  • Pint of Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 C slivered almonds
  • 1/2 C honey 

Instructions

  • Strain liquid from cottage cheese
  • mix almonds and honey in cottage cheese
  • Refrigerate until needed 

Notes

  • Can be used alone or as a spread on bread
  • Walnuts were introduced to England by Vikings in the 9th Century. Ergo, those can be substituted for almonds
