Sage Tea
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp fresh sage or 1 tsp dried sage per cup of boiling water
- (opt) honey for sweetening
Instructions
- Steep sage in boiling water, after it has been removed from heat, for 3-5 minutes
- Strain and serve with honey or crushed tart fruits for flavor
Notes
- Considering the uncertain quality of water in 10th Century England, especially in the cities, boiling water would be good thing.
