Gingerbread
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup clear honey
- 1 lb bread, at least 4 days old, ground into fine crumbs
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Bring honey to a boil.
- Skim off any scum.
- Stir in bread crumbs and spices.
- When mixed, press into well greased cake pan.
- Cover and leave for at least several hours or overnight.
- Cut into small pieces to serve.
